Alexander Great is a St. Louis-born, Milwaukee-raised, and Chicago-based DJ with a passion for people & creating positive vibes.
Aided by time spent learning to play different instruments as a child and growing up in a musically diverse home, Alexander developed a love for music. After moving to Chicago in 2012 and gaining access to countless music venues, concerts, and festivals he was inspired to take up DJing.
Fast forward to today, he’s built a music catalog that spans generations and genres, taking listeners on a unique journey through hip-hop, soul, funk, R&B, jazz, indie rock, deep house, and bops from all over Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa.
He founded and hosts GOOD NEWS RADIO, an independent radio show broadcasting live from Chicago, highlighting fresh faces, sounds, & voices from diverse backgrounds, every other Sunday on SoundCloud & MixCloud.
